Hi there,

did anybody try to run Ubisoft's F1 Racing  on an AMD K5  or K6 CPU? I
just tried a K5/166 and it didn't even start?!?!

Since I'll be getting a new  K6 soon, I'm really curious  if this is a
new AMD bug which also applies to the K6.

no it doesn't !  27 meg. d/l and it dont even try to run on my system
: AMD k5/166 , QDI m/b, 32 meg edo. double-click f1_rs.exe and
......nothing. I borrowed an Intel P90 and tried to run it, guess
what, no problem, it  started & ran ok (quite slowly though). This amd
k5/166 is going and i'm buying intel. Is it lazy programming or AMD
incompatibility ? Do I care which ? It just doesn't run.

Sorry, forgot to add RV Flash 3D to my hardware list.

Runs Awesome on my Friends machine.

Sounds like your just having configuration problems.
The K6 is an awsome CPU.
It also runs GLQuake just as good as mine.
We both got a 3DFX.
