    I have a Diamond Monster Voodoo l graphics accelerator. I was using
the 2.43 drivers without any problems. But I heard that Diamond came out
with a 2.46 driver,so I downloaded and installed it as per directions. I
was able to test the card without any problems,but when I tried to start
up gpl I kept getting an error message:
VXD version v1.4 expected got v1.2. Nothing I tried seemed to work.
Finally I deleted the 2.46 drivers and reinstalled the 2.43 drivers. GPl
started right up.

   What is VXD and why would I get this message?

   I downloaded the 2.43 driver from the Diamond web site last year. I
don't know of any sites that have it now. If you have a Voodoo l,email
me,and I will send you the driver.
