different than they are used to. Well after running a couple of races, I
can say that the way the cars drive seems a lot more like what I
actually see on tv. You can actually control your car through the turns.
If your car is pushing, crank the wheel over and make it through the
turn while sacrificing speed and tires. If you really need to pass
someone, you can floor it and get a little loose in the back... but only
if you have fresh tires. Sure there are a bunch of goofy things like the
garbage replay system, and the cheesy race intro, but all in all its a
pretty good racer.
I've seen a lot of people with a bunch of nonsense complaints. "Theres
no***pit view so I'm not gonna try it" Um, yes there is.
"The graphics suck I cant even read the guages" Well you have done
something wrong because they are perfectly legible on my system.
"The Indy setup is undrivable" Did you actually load the race setup? The
default is not set at all, but the race one is a little bit better. Its
still a bit loose, but guess what, make a change in the garage, and the
difference on the track is HUGE. Not like N2004 where you could barely
feel a difference.
The AI is pretty fun to drive with too. I was on the last lap and Tony
Steward gave me a friendly little bump then slipped past underneath me
