Hey gang,
I am considering pulling GP2 off the shelf, dusting it off, and loading it
on my pc. Has been quite a while since I ran it.
My system is a Celeron 300a running at 464 on an Abit BH6, 128 mb of ram, V3
3000 agp card, SB Live Value soundcard.
Seems like I have heard of issues running GP2 with the Live card.
Will I struggle getting it to run ok? Were any patches done for it, and if
so are they still available?

I would look for "GP2" and "Live" in older r.a.s. messages via
www.dejanews.com

You should harvest quite a collection of messages with most issues.

I have GP2 loaded on my computer. My system: PIII 600 on an Abit BX6-r2,
256M ram, TNT2 Ultra w/ Voodoo2 in SLI, and a SB Live Value. The only thing
is make sure you have the DOS drivers loaded for the soundcard. Other than
that it should work just fine. There is all kinds of updates for it. The new
2000 tracks and cars are available. Almost anything you want to do with the
game. Hope this helps.
