You see this is the stuff i'm talking about, we've changed from a nice

I have just learned that Jed decided yesterday to
discontinue The UK Pits, and that only The US Pits
maintained by Jan Kohl will remain. Why? For the
following reasons (in no particular order):

1) People constantly asked where the Daytona patch
is and called Jed names because he didn't want to
release it. Why did he not want to release it?
Because he would have gotten in trouble with Daytona
and maybe with Papyrus.

2) People constantly pressured Jed to updated The Pits
and were mad at him for not updating The Pits in June.
Jed has a job and only has time to update the pits on
the weekends. And like everyone else, Jed has a life,
too. Maybe he sometimes doesn't want to spend his
weekend playing around with web pages which he does all
week, but do something else instead.

3) Many took graphics and HTML code from The Pits without
asking, and put it on their own web pages without giving
credit to The Pits. If some of you would have at least
asked......

4) Several people took the utilities that are on The Pits
and put them on their own web pages. Then, instead of
giving credit to the authors of the utilities, they
gave credit to themselves for creating the utilties.

Jed has stated that he doesn't want to run The UK Pits
anymore because so many people annoyed him or upset him
with the above reasons. I don't think that any of you
who did any of the above things had a right to. I wish
that Jed could change his mind, but I don't want to tell
you to to bombard his mail box. At least The US Pits are
still there. Good luck to Jan and The US Pits.

Well Done to the Morons out there!!!
Bad news that Jed has decided to leave us...he was a valuable asset to
the Sim Racing Community...
Now incessant bullshit, has driven another away, and it is WE who suffer
the most...
When will you people learn what it is to be gracious and accept what is
given, after tons of hard work, without whining, and show some genuine
appreciation...
We as agroup, seem to  be EXPECTING things, now,as though it's our
God-given right..when in fact...we'd have NOTHING,if not for a lot of
hard working people out there..who ALLOW us to SHARE their know-how!!!
and have always done so with great spirit.

Had they not...we'd all still be driving around in the "standard"
looking ICars and Ncars, thinking THAT was all there was...

Grow up rec.autos.simulators,we have cause to be ashamed!

I for one,am grateful for all the mods, info, assistance, help, and
fraternal spirit of all of those like Jed...I use all of their little
tweaks and major overalls...

Unfortunately,I can only really be a "user" as I only have a lttle of
the real technical knowledge it takes, for the "producers" amongst us,to
come up with these enhancements as such.

As a simple "user" I therefore have little to offer in return...BUT I
have never been asked for anything either...so the least I can do,is
show some appreciation, and grace in acceptance of their "goodies"

AND SHUT THE HELL UP IF IT DOES"NT SUIT ME,PERFECTLY!!!
