SpeedCenter introduces the very first full 3D VRML
driving simulator for the web!

Ok - it's still a beta and no match to Papyrus' or
Microprose's software, but then that's not our goal.

We are developing a *** environment that could soon
be hosting multi-player sessions, and if we can
find enough support in the industry, entire
seasons of multiplayer action are possible, with
17 tracks or more, edending on car type.

For now, you'll have to race against a lone AI car
that will keep learning from you as soon as you
outperform it and start winning races. The game
is demanding on the CPU - we recommend at least
a P166 to get the frame rate needed for smooth
control.

You will need SGI's COSMO Player, available for
Win95 and NT. The 2.7MB download is linked from
our page. You only need this player once, and it
lets you access all other VRML 2.0 worlds on the
web.

Our simulation is much smaller - maybe 80kb total.
We would like your feedback to plan future development.
