N2- Updated Glide drivers Needed ? !

As a long-term sim newbie,  I just installed a Monster 3d card using Voodoo
1
chipset with my HP P166 with 16meg ram ( I will upgrade to 32 meg soon)

I just installed the N2 3dfx patch and it hangs up when "Initializing Glide"
when rebooting in Ms Dos mode. It appears I only have Glide version 2.10
and I need Version 2.43 to run N2 !

I can't seem to find the updated glide drivers ! Are they "specific" to my
Monster
card? Where do I find them? ( I went to 3dfx.com and Diamond.com and i
couldn't find
them !) Any assistance would be appreciated!

BTW, where is the F1RS demo that everyone raves about ?

either one of those sites will have 2.43 drivers for you.

Get the latest Monster 3d drivers from Diamond at
http://www.diamondmm.com/products/drivers/monster-3d.cfm
They will not only give you the Glide 2.43 but will update the drivers
for the card as well. Judging by your Glide version you are a few
revisions behind and it's always good to have the latest drivers for
your hardware :)
