Contact Cleaner and my GP1 info

I have went everywhere in Savannah, GA looking for "Contact Cleaner".  Every
sales associate looks like I am speaking a foreign language when I ask about
it!  I have been to two Radio Shacks and one Wal-Mart looking for the stuff
and no one has it.  Radio Shack had a Contact cleaner pen but no spray.
They had several dusters and a couple of TV/color TV tuner cleaners.  Are
these the same thing?  Anybody know if Home Depot or someone else that has
it, and exactly what is it called.  I need my GP1 back in working order.  I
have emailed Thrustmaster about replacement pots and springs but I hope this
will be a temporary fix in the mean time.  After/if I find the stuff, must I
take apart the GP1 or just spray into the openings near the
brake/accelerator paddles?

Thanks to all you guys who responded to my last post concerning this
problem.  I hope I can reciprocate some day.

Regards,

It's been a while since I bought a can at Radio Shack, but their's is
usually known as "Tuner Control Celaner Lubricant".  The part number I
have on my old can is 64-4315.  Radio Shack should still carry this, or
you may have to check with an electronics supply store (one that caters
to people who repair and build electronic gizmos).

You can clean the paddle pots on the GP1 without tearing it apart.  Just
aim the tube (attached to the nozzle) into the square hole on the pot.
You should be able to find the hole when you have the paddle fully
depressed.

There is also Radio Shack's "Contact & Head Cleaner", part # 44-8726.
This *may* be a Canadian part number...either way, this stuff kept my
old T2's pots going for months after they first started screwing up.
