.....Im trying to turn my Ole Geezer stepdad onto simracing, but his
computer isnt necessarily "sim friendly".  I thought I would try to install
Nascar 3, and if that doesnt work....the old Nascar 2. I know it was a dos
game but dont remember the installation instructions...(its been a LONG
time)....does anyone know where I might find the setup procedure for N2? I
can figure out N3 on my own...(if his system will take it)...Any help much
appreciated. Im driving down to see him Friday and wanted to make it as
painless as possible...crossing my fingers his computer will like N3 to save
some hassle!
Thanks

Hmm.  Just pop the CD in, and install with the autorun (like 99% of the
games available).  Download the patch on the net after.

hey,

on some systems, the thing n2 does with checking out yr system won't quite
work the way it should, at least it didn't with my amd k6-2.  just bypass
that (however you can or is it a button that says accept it or something...
it's been a long time!)  also, manually configuring yr soundcard may be
something you have to do if the sound doesn't work.

i know ymenard said just pop it in.... but that's according to which cpu yr
running.

ciao,

rob

btw,

if you have n99, it doesn't have those problems.

 Yup N2 installs/runs in Win95/98 for sure.  N2 will run un-installed
if you make a copy of the original N2 folder (then un-install the
original).
