First I wake up to the news that 7 American POW's had been found alive
and basically well.  Then on RPM Today I hear that Mario Andretti is
pressuring CART to get Road AMerica (Elkhart Lake) back on the schedule.
  Thanks Mario!

The POW's were voluntarily turned over in good condition. The child killer
in the White House tried to get alll the gullible, U.S. chubs thinking they
would be tortured or killed.

Child killer? Where were your complaints when Iraq gassed 5,000 kurds? Women
and children died horrible death, some of them dismembering their faces by
scratching their faces off. Where were your complaints when the Shiia
population was brutally killed? Where were your complaints when men's
sisters were***d right in front of them?

You sir, are a hypocrite.

All of the people rallying and protesting are hypocrites. Back when
THOUSANDS of people were getting ***ed***d and tortured you sit at your
home all comfy... but now that thousands of people are going to be
liberated, and a few hundred people die to rid it, you stand up and call
them child killers.

THINK man... THINK.

Why thank you good sir, you've never met me and I've barely expressed my
thoughts on the subject in this forum and yet you've labeled me a
hypocrite

But I guess it beats being labeled a Nazi eh Jan V ? :-)

Indeed sir, indeed

David I made no reference to the right or wrong of the war itself, only
the welcome news that some of our fellow country men and women have been
found.  Good news for sure.  As to the rhetoric you responded with, I can
only ask if you also defended non-agression with such passion when Kosovo
was getting the SNOT blown out of it?  Will a google search reveal quotes
of the Baby Killer Clinton as well?

You are kidding right DGF?

Not only are you wrong but you are calling me (and 70%+ of the US
population) a gullible CHUB, whatever that is.

Ask Jessica *** or the dead pow's about the Iraqi's and the treatment they
received eh?  Or maybe ask the Shia,. Kurds, and even Sunnis how great
Saddams regime was.

Voluntary?  You are again completely wrong in your partisan views.
Voluntary with the force of the US military behind it all yea.  Whom
volunteered the info?  The regime or an Iraqi citizen with a conscience?

You need to stop watching both Al-Gizzera <sp?> and the BBC and come back to
REALITY!

Just a quick addendum.

The Iraqi that gave the info was an Iraqi police officer who assumed the
coalition was coming to get the POW's.   Hardly voluntary.

Every now and then you say something that puts you back in my good books.

I guess I've been watching too much BBC...

Pook should consider hiring Mario as an advisor.  Seriously,
everything I've read that he's said in the past 6 months has been
right on the money.  I especially am impressed by his complete lack of
support for Michael's move to the IRL, as well as his comments on
Brands Hatch (basically calling the Indy circuit 'mickey mouse' and
asking CART to try to get the full length track on the schedule next
year).

I disagree with you fairly often as far as sim stuff goes, but you're
pretty right on the money here. =)

I didn't realize that Kosovo was a.) a pre-emptive strike in the style
of Hitler invading Poland or b.) a unilateral military action.

Not that I support force when it can be avoided, but Clinton's foreign
policy for all of its faults at least kept an open ear to
international opinion before taking action on anything.  Except for
the day the Lewinsky news broke and we bombed an aspirin factory, but
that's another story. =)

Once again Jason, I did not assign right or wrong to the event.  Bombing
is bombing if I read David correctly.  Therefore, whether or not Clinton
had the support of the UN(I don't beleive there was any vote tho) he surely
must have denounced the much larger use of unguided ordinance for nearly
two months time.  If I read David correctly he surely must have been just
as horrified by the large scale of damage and casulties that occurred
during that time. If however, David's outrage is not the result of innocent
deaths, but the death of innocents by a non-Democrat administration then I
believe his statements are merely political and lack any merit.  If he has
similar statements from the Kosovo time period that denounce the baby
killing that MUST have occurred, that MUST have been at least twice as
long, that MUST have been less accurate and therefore more fatal to
civilians I will support his right to make such statements as he included
in this thread.  Otherwise he is making a political speach and not
condeming ***.
And as far as your points...a) I don't recall the former Yugoslavian
empire ever threatening the USA and b) Hitler's strike at Poland was not a
pre-emptive move of anysort.  He was after the land and resources of
Poland.  I have yet to hear of any plan by the US or Brits, or Aussies or
Poles to annex Iraq.

Finally...strange how nobody in this thread has commented on Mario
throwing his weight around.
