Just got a 1.1 AMD with a Elsa Geoforce II Ultra 64 mb, 256 ram,
sblive.

Nascar 3 and 4 when i get to the race screen freezes and locks up the
puter. I've tried installing new drivers ect with no success.

GPL will not even load!!!!
Help i'm going insane

My guess would be heat related.  I have almost the exact same combo (512mb
ram vs. 256.) and both run fine as well as Falcon4, Janes F/A 18, Halflife,
Unreal Tournament etc, etc.  Temperature is a "Major" issue with both the
1.1 and the Geforce II.  How are you set up for cooling in the case?

More questions than answers......but did you build this system yourself?  If
not, call who did....because they didn't build it correctly.  You'll be
better off going to any of the 1,000's of computer tech sites....than RAS.
Your problems are major and it would take a phone book to just list the
questions to ask you about information you left out of your post (frantic as
it was).  Ask Dave Henrie if you think I'm fooling you!

  ah hah!   "I" may have the answer.
What kind of video card did you have before?????
Was it a 3dfx product?  If so...your best off starting over and
re-installing N3, then choosing the d3d option.
Same for GPL delete(save any setups you may have)
then re-install GPL, use the D3D patch.
   (never ask me about hardware hahahahaha)
