Are you referring to what was released by Microprose as "Grand Prix
Manager" (part of MP's "World Circuit" line)?
There was one version released several years ago (around the same time
as GP2) for Win3.1 and supposedly a second version was later released
for Win95, although I've never seen the second version (I believe MP
had a patch/update for it on their ftp site though).
