Cubit has some nice setups for the Turbos and the Egg Beaters (FWDs)
You will improve straight away :-)
They are easy to find from the front page:

Car setup's for LFS?

somtehing like this:

Here's pretty much the setup that I used for a 1.29.73 lap on the
turbo... and then my friend gave it a try and he was exactly one
second faster. My friend was actually making a practical joke by
messing around with my setup's suspension... we were quite surprised
to see that it was actually quite good to drive and somewhat fast too.

- Take the default setup
- Widen the track, but keep the difference between front and rear
track the same
- Raise the ride height almost to the max
- Soften the suspension to the minimum
- Stiffen the bump damper almost to the max
- Soften the rebound damper to the minimum
- Brake balance to 67, maybe even 66
- Final ratio 4.5
- Differential lock 7.5

I'm quite certain that a real car with this kind of setup couldn't be
driven very far... :/
