What game, what hardware ?

I'm in a position to upgrade.
I want to play a good on-line racing sim.
In the past i have played Grand Prix Legends and Nascar 4
Whats the best on-line racing sim currently.
What spec hardware eg Graphics card and processor is best value for money.
I connect using cable.

Thanks in advance

What do you have at the moment?

Still gpl, and N4, NR2002, NR2003. F12002/GTR2002 can be raced online with
resonable success, but it's certainly not the 'best online racing sim' if
that's your only requirement. What sort of racing are you interested in?

Gf4 4200 is good value, Ati 9500/pro is pretty good value and faster too.
AMD chips are usually cheaper than Intel ones speed for speed, and DDR
memory would be best for value either way. It just depends on how much
you're prepared to spend ;-)
