I was in an electrical store today, and I played a rally game on the
Playstation. It was great, looked good, felt good.
Unfortunately, I had to leave pretty abruptly and I didn't find out what
game it was. Could anyone help out please?

It was either Rally Cross, which is identified by the cars being a
little top heavy.
Or
V-Rally, which is currently an import, (avail. in US around Oct or so).
This game is identified by relalistic actual rally cars and a large
number of tracks to race on.
