F1 RS Monza times: 1:20:XXX Realistic????

by The Unexplaine » Mon, 22 Dec 1997 04:00:00

Hi,

Just downloaded the setups for Monza from f1racingsim.com.

I did improve 2 seconds using one setup, so I edge Hill's Pole for Monza.

However, I really think that any PC-racer being FOUR seconds faster than any
real F-1driver is, IMO, just NOT realistic.

I mean.... FOUR seconds, that's huge gap, these days, the first 10 drivers
on the grid are only within one second, and here come PC drivers racing away
4 seconds ahead of the real Pole. And it wasn't raining last year, was it?

Still, hats off for those who do a 1:20:XXX for Monza, my best is 1:24:557.

German Mark V Panther tank knock out three M4 and three M5 tanks during and
after being hit by at least fif*** rounds of 75mm APC from a distance of
approximately 700 yards. All of these shells had ricochetted, with the
exception of a six***th round which finally put the Mark V Panther out of
action." Sgt. Thomas P. Welborn, Germany's Panther tank, the quest for
