Nascar/ICR2 texture editor for scenery

by C:WINSOCKKA9QSPOOLMAI » Tue, 23 Jan 1996 04:00:00

Ok ok, I understand that there seems to be no way to convert ICR2
tracks into Nascar format, but would it be possible for a program to be
made so that textures in Nascar/ICR2 could be edited (ad hoardings,
etc.). It might not be as good as a track converter thingy but its a
start!
Fancy having a shot, Jed?

As far as I know, the DAT files contain MIP and 3DO files that
contains bitmap data for maps and 3D objects. However, without
any file specs (and I don't think Rick/Papyrus are that generous) its
a difficult task.

Gehard who wrote NAS2ICR seems to know a bit about the file formats as
his program patches these parts in his util to sort the colours.

Shame he only seems to be on compuserve.
