Gooday ICR2 racers,
Ever raced in an offline league with ICR2? If so you know how good
it is. Ever raced with an email start race notification system? What's
that you say? Well it means that you send an email to the competition
director to declare you are about to begin your run. You then have a
fixed amount of time to send in your results - from 1 - 2 hours
approximately depending on race distance. No unlimited restarts here.
You must be well prepared and get it right first time - much more
realistic! Sound good so far?
Well there is another thing that might interest you with this comp.
It will be using the recently released N2>ICR2 converter from The Pits
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
the N2/BGN tracks this season. Have you converted Bull Run for ICR2 yet.
I have and I have one word for you - AWESOME!
This league has been formerly known as CICC and now goes under the
name of CCCC 98. This league is reknowned for strong fields and this
year will be no different. It has an extensive array of stats/records,
is very well run and has Virtual Qualification Replays (replays where
all the drivers cars are put into 1 replay to see who was quicker than
who and where - AWESOME!), your individal/team car in the carset, photos
of the drivers, etc.
There is an exhibition at Gateway, March 22, and the season opener
at Portland, March 29. The first need for the converter comes at Pocono,
April 12 (free version of converter does this). The first need for the
full converter ($15) comes at Nazareth, May 3.
What you need to run full season - ICR2 (version 1.02)
N2/BGN tracks
Full Converter from the pits ($15)
This is probably your 1st and last chance to compete in a league of
this nature/quality using ICR2 and will probably be a great way to say
goodbye to ICR2. Pop over to http://www.racesimcentral.net/
and see for yourself. Schedule is up! Rules are there to study! SIGN UP
NOW!
