I'm new to Indycar racing this year, and I am interested in any
information about games which simulate Indycar racing (either
solo or competetive via modem) on my PC.
I looked for a FAQ or new user information when I subscribed,
but, finding neither, decided to trudge onward.
As an aside, I have contacted my local software store and checked
CompuServe's files with no luck.

Point your FTP client to ftp://didnt.doit.wisc.edu/.../icr
From there you can find the FAQ and some patches to IndyCar Racing by
Papyrus, the best Racing sim on earth alongside NASCAR Racing which is
also by the wonders at Papyrus. Btw IndyCar 2.0 is to be released late Fall.
Also there exist some internet series that support IndyCar and NASCAR, but you
should get yourself immersed in the sim of your choice before joining any of
those series.
