Bertel Bolt-

general eropean release.

by Bertel Bolt- » Thu, 22 Feb 2001 23:25:49

Are there any word of a general Eropean release. Well I am from Denmark so i
don't really care about Portugal or something, so what I am really looking
for is a eventual danish release.
I have been playing with my version of the game, and the AI really is
getting on my nerves. Are there any guidelines for where the AI is
compettitive and where it just crashes over and over again. Just exited a
game where the 30 last laps where under caution because of the AI ramming
eachother (and me - those bastards)

Sierra told me today that UK release was 1st half 2001, so I ordered
from the Sierra webshop for $83.95 with UPS International shipping,
otherwise it could take a few months!

Don't  want to know about Sierra, load of prats! If N4 were down to Papy
it'd been in Europe the same time as the US, as GPL was and Indycar 1 & 2
before it.

SIERRA is the worst of  the US when it comes to its small minded
provincialism.

One thing about Europe, we do think in global terms.

buy it online in a us shop, now you just hav to look for the best shipping
costs....

if you know someone living in the states have it sent to him and he can send
it back to you for about 5$, should be cheaper than what the online store
would charge...

Bertel Bolt-

general eropean release.

by Bertel Bolt- » Fri, 23 Feb 2001 02:43:10

It would be nice to have a general release of N4, so that could be european
gameservers as well, since latency and the time of day for most races are a
minor problem. I really don't wan't to buy online just because Sierra have a
hard time getting their thumbs out of their asses. The postage is irritating
me, and besides I am one of those few guys who don't wan't to have a
credit-card.
