Speedvision Petition - Send an Email

by John » Tue, 03 Jul 2001 04:40:25

I want Speedvision to live,
I suggest we all send emails with our comments and possibly add this link.
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Below are some addresses, execs, cable companies an so on.
I would like to add some advertisers and more cable companies but don't have
time.
Any added addresses would be great. Lets start a flood.

SPEEDVISION

FOX TELEVISION

NASCARFX

CABLE COMPANIES

Know of any more addresses ?

John G, My letter below
******************
Attention Execs.

I'm sure your getting alot of this.

I use Time Warner Cable in Southern California.

I pay for a premium package (HBO, and other movie channels)

I find my cable bill to be quite expensive.

I would cancel my premium service if not for Speedvision.

In the past 5 years I have not watched 1 NASCAR event.

Comparativly, This season I get out of bed at 4:30 am every other saturday
and sunday

to watch the Formula One Grand Prix on Speedvision. I rarely miss a
Superbike race, or

a show on Vintage Motorsports. FIA World Rally Championship is so great to
see.

As an average I would say I watch Speedvision for 75% of my weekly viewing.

If NASCAR is to become the Main focus of Speedvision, you would find one
unhappy customer in me.

Perhaps the addition of NASCAR is possible. If it does not displace the
current Programing too badly.

(e.g. Airplanes, and Boats seem a little silly)

I can't imagine the benifit here. Trying to compete with the Major Networks.

It was my beleif that speedvision was for the "MotorSport" enthusist not the
"NASCAR only" enthusist.

Such a thing exists you know.

Watch your step. Today, I promote Speedvision. Too much nascar and I shall
leave.
