Modem Nascar Night Race ?

Is there a way to run night races with a modem connection  in Nascar.
I tried changing the calendar file for Bristol from 0 to 1 and my
buddy called me to race but when we went to Bristol to race it was
daytime. We wanna night race, can someone let us know how. Thanks
