GPL No-CD file?

Hi:
 I just ordered GPL last Monday and have not received it yet. Anybody
can tell me if the CD is required in the CD-player to use the program.
If so, anybody knows the availability of a No-CD file for GPL? I checked
GameCopyWorld and couldn't find any for the US version.

The US version doesn't require the cd to be in the drive, while some other
versions do.

USA version does not need CD.
