I have contacted both Papyrus and Sierra trying to purchase the IMS add
on disk for Indycar Racing I. Neither company is selling it anymore. If
anyone knows where I can find it or if anyone has it and would like to
sell it, please let me know.

Thanks,
Tom

How close does that make IMS public domain?

You can still obtain it in the UK - I did a few days ago. try ***
Interactive Entertainment on +44 171 368 2255/2266. They do mail order.
BTW, I'm having a problem running mine. It seems to require more memory
than the other tracks. In fact I can't get it to run (insufficient
memory error). I'm using a 486/66 DX + 16 meg RAM. Looks like I'll need
to get 32 meg! Also the software costs 10-00 UK pounds - quite cheap
really.

Hope this helps

Alan

Are you sure? Both IMS and ICR1 only require 4 mb ram for a hard drive
installation!

Sounds more like a conventional memory problem (below 640K).
Not that buying RAM is a bad idea nowadays, but even 8 meg can
definitely handle it with no problems.

Pick one or more: Model Rockets (competition-NERCB) / PCs (even Atari!) /
Papyrus ICR-ICR2-NCR / Who needs a life when you have multiple non-lives?

Also try contacting the IMS gift shop (located inside the track itself) via
phone.  I did in July and a copy was sent out to me within a few days.
