Why it shouldn't? Manual, boxes etc. already can be printed by forehand.
Pressing the cd's doesn't take weeks, that's just a matter of days...
distributing them also goes really fast...

Sure it can.

I've seen numerous releases that have gone gold then hit the
shelves 2 weeks later.

Yep, 2 weeks is pretty typical for the going gold to hitting shelves time.
5th July plus 14 days = plenty of time yet.
