My neighbour has a PC/AT 286-16 40 Mb, equipped with 640 Kb of RAM
and 368 Kb of EMS (<- I do not no why). The system gives a free memory
under DR-DOS 6.0 of 605 Kb and under PC-DOS 3.30 588 Kb.
When starting GP.EXE under both operating systems the following message
appears: " not enough RAM - Start from Hard disk " (<-HUH?)
On my machine 286-10 (haha) 4 Mb it runs good under PC-DOS 3.30, what's
the matter with this, does GP.EXE use some extended memory or so ?
(Even with PC-DOS 6.1 (XMS etc.) it runs fantastic)
The frames goes bump, bump, bump on my machine but it is easier to make setups
for circuits, the faster they go (at my younger brother machine) the more less
setup is found (or my brother is very lazy.)
I hope you good clarify this problem, thanks in advance,
