Yes indeed!!
It happened to me at Monza, on the curve parabloica (the
last 180 degree turn before the start/straight finish), there was a
glitch in the graphics which meant the cars crashed into some form of
barrier which should have been on the side of the track but was now in
the middle.

I think there was over 17 DNF's and numberous cars going into the pits
after hitting this wall at 150mph.

Weird!!

Yesterday when I was qualifying at Jerez the strangest thing happend.

I was leaving the pit and at the end of the pit-lan a car was standing
still. I couldn't avoid crashing it..... but when I eventually managed to
get around it I came into the 1st corner and here something really strange
happend.

About 7 or 8 cars were standing still in this corner.... and again I
crashed right into them.

Does anybody now this bug.... (at least I think it's a bug, because nothing
indicates a crach between those cars (no loose parts on the circuit)).

When I eventuelly got around them, I completed one lap and then all the
cars where still there..... and now I really crashed at full speed.

After this all the cars were pushed of the track by the officials... It was
quite funny to see so many officials push so many cars at the same time....

BTW. I've got that crash saved so if anybody is interested I could put it
my homepage....for download...... Just let me now.....

greetings Patrick

Weird, never seen that one b4.  But have you encountered the weird pull you
into the barrier type thing in the twisty bends on the back straight b4 the
pits at Montreal.  There's one right hander in the twists where if you get
close to the kerbing you're smacked into the wall for no apparent reason.

I get the very same thing but at the first turn at Monaco. It just sucks
me into the wall and I scrape along for a second. Very odd.

The strangest I experienced was at Monza: I did a session of about 20 very fast
laps. After that, I tried to watch the replays....to find out that they all
showed CRASHES!! Not one of them was correct...

I think this is something like an aerodynamic effect. The same happens
if you overtake a car at Imola in the tamburello.

Hey! This wouldn't be one of those dodgy Pentium chips would it? You know -
the one's that couldn't calculate large numbers properly.

Maybe that's why things were in the wrong place!! ;o]

I think this is some sort of aerodynamic effect too.

If you get TOO close to a wall, especially near the entry or exit to a
corner, where the forces on the car are at there maximum, you can
sometimes get this effect where you are sucked nearer to the wall.

This also happens sometimes when overtaking, if you get TOO close to the
car you are attempting to overtake.

I always thought this was driving with steering help while using keys.
I often slide a little wide at Monaco then as the road kinks left the
steering help wants the car to move left as well.  But since you're
off-line it pushes you into the armco.

I've seen the same effect at countless other spots and also when
overtaking.  Just wish I could afford a wheel setup.

This IS steering help.  Geoff has figured that a few spots are "passing"
spots, but the road kinks.  They really ARE passing spots, BUT if you
tried to go through there two wide some wheels would lock.  So, along
comes the steering help that makes sure two cars will fit through the
place.

Ex #1 - Up the hill after turn one in Monaco.  Stick to the armco to the
outside of turn 1.  When the road kinks you will get sucked into the
armco.

Ex #2 - The last kink in Canada leading to the pit entrance (on the "back"
stretch).  Stay to the inside of the kink.  The car will be sucked over
the curb and into the armco.

There are many other examples, but these are the most obvious ones.  It is
because of the steering help.  It does not do that if you have steering
help off.

I lost the ENTIRE rear part of my car. I hit pause, watched the
replay, noticed I didn't hit anything.

Upon 'returning to my car' to ride out the crash, I found my car
mysteriously restored. Happened again, car spun for no reason.
