Hello and thanks for your prompt answer !!

I unplugged the cable, replugged it, when i entered the properties the
thottle was set at "middle" and after about half a second it went up to full
without me touching it, if I unplug the cable while on the properties screen
the brakes are doing it too (climbing to full).

The cable doesn't look damaged or cut.

I can open the pedal base to check the wiring but if this fails how do I
proceed to get a new pot ?

    Thank you

Sounds like it could be either a problem with the potentiometer
(sensor) for the Gas pedal, or your pedal base could have a bad wire.  Check
your cable for damage, like kinks, knots or bends.  Also make sure the pedal
base is plugged in securely to the back of the wheel.

        Hello

I have a 2nd version FORCE RS (with the shifter paddles independant
from each other) with the shifter (non usb)

I have upgraded to Windows XP and gotten the latest drivers from
your site, everything was fine for about a month.

Since yesterday the thottle is always at full in the windows control
panel properties. If I press it or not it remains at full.

In the games it is not working anymore, the brakes are but no
throttle

I suspect more an electronic problem because it was working all
right the last time I used it, it didn't "brake" in the middle of a game.

I have removed the wheel from windows, removed the drivers,
reinstalled it and the same thing happens.

        Thank you for your help.

Well.. the support from the Wingmanteam for the Momo wheel was nothing
short of outstanding :)
Good to hear ACT also gives excellent support. Most other companies
can learn a lot from this unfortunately.

Thrustmaster USED to be this way...but people REALLY started to abuse it, so
they had to quit. I remember that people used to basically make their own
steering wheels by just asking TM for a set for their "broken wheel."
