Excellent choice. It is a big improvement on the T2 (physically) and it
allows for both gear shift and toggle button shifting, so all the fans can
be happy. I got mine in Toronto at an IBM Home Computing Store for less
than most stores are charging for the T2. Shop around carefully before
buying as it is available for less than the older wheels! Aside from the
two mode shifting options, the clamping system for the desktop is improved
and the pedals are way better than the older versions. They also can be
switched between independent and connected mode.

Good wheel but I would go ahead and order new gas pedal springs because
I broke mine after 2 months. Not that big of a deal but you might want
some on hand when it snaps. Good feeling wheel for the money and a good
clamping device.
