Yeah, I have to use the no-cd patch on the server, or else I can't race from
home.  Does it affect the scoring, or just show annoying messages?

Can fixed setups be forced in F1 ?

Whichever Ferrari you want Eldred Ill grab the other.  I really suck at F1
so I need all the help I can get :)  Plus I have almost no clue about these
other cars lol.  I wasnt totally joking about the Renault Jan <g>.

It just shows annoying messages. However it does open up the possibility of
cheating. F1C checks that the important files are the same on each client as
the server, any differences will be announced to all players.
If we all use the same noCD patch, the error messages will stop.

Everyone sees them. They get repeated every x seconds.
I've seen messages about other mismatches too (mostly .hdv)
