logitech g25 owners- asking for a little help to identify power supply?

by MDBJ » Tue, 25 Sep 2007 21:31:15

a week or so ago, I gifted my wheel to a guy leaving the country in
about 48 hours,
we recently realized, I didn't include the power supply, and at home I
have a few hundred pounds of power blocks.
I don't have the time to unpack the wheel, find the right one, and get
it back in his hands..

can anyone please give me enough details about their g25 supply to let
me know which one to find ?

color-sizeish- manufacturer name on it--volts/pin & type  etc?  thank
you very much, I'll be hoping for a reply when I get home this
evening, so I can find it tonight....

It's too dark under my desk to read all the writing, but as far as I
can see, it's all specification and compliance data anyway: no company
name that leaps out at me.

But... the power supply is fairly unique in that it runs from the
wheel base (with the ubiquitous round plug) to the PS box and ends.

There is a plug at the other end of the PS where a side-by-side pair
of round plugs go. There is a power cord with the standard 3-pronged
end going to the side-by-side round plugs that fit the PS box.

So you're actually looking for two parts: the wheel to PS box, and the
outlet plug to PS cable.

(proportional font for DC Output section advised.)

APD - Asian Power Devices Inc.

AC Adapter
Model N0: DA-42H24

AC Input : 100-240Vac, 50-60Hz, 1.0A Max.
                  ______
DC Output : 24Vdc ------ 1.75A

Limited Power Source :  - > (. < +      (that is negative on the
outside, positive on the inside of the mini jack. Awesome diagram, no?
:) )

MADE IN CHINA

I was going to snap a picture and throw it up somewhere, but my camera
batteries just died.

I did a search for 'G25 power supply' in GIS. It looks the same as
laptop power supplies in shape: two parts - one with the mini-jack/power
brick, and then a standard power cord that plugs into the power brick -
then to the wall.
