...for me is not whether it is Sierra or Empire (the same thing ultimately),
whether it is actually September vs. August or November, but that Amazon is
showing it as $29.99........$20 less than NR2002, for example.

Please tell me I am panicking unnecessarily here....

Maybe that's why the Wests have not been allowed to comment....

If you are worrying about it at all you are panicking unnecessarily :)

I guess I should have expected this sort of comment.  How many more official
or semi-official signals do we need to at least acknowledge it is
legitimately in production?  I don't need any more.  But I am willing to
acknowledge that a significant percentage of partially completed projects
never see the light of day--but there is no reason to pick on WSC in
particular for that.

Marc Collins heeft geschreven in bericht ...

Don't see what's there to worry about.
So it isn't only expected to be good but (relatively) cheap as well :-)

I do remember Chris talked once about the idea that WSC
could be build with a starterspack and lots of add-ons.
Kinda like we bought our Scalectrix slotcar sets.

Maybe that explains the price.
A basic pack and the first add-on might make for a total of $49.99

Just a thought

It's going to be cheap because it was developed originally to be used on a
rendition video card LOL.

"Hans" > I do remember Chris talked once about the idea that WSC
I have been one of the more vocal opponents of NR2002's high price tag.
However, when looking at WSC, one of the biggest savings is the lack of
professional licensing fees for leagues.  There is no Nascar to pay, no FIA,
only the tracks and individual car makers.(plus adverts of course) so by NOT
making a FIA Sportscar sim, or by not signing up the Le Mans' name, they
save a ton of $$
  just another thought.
