CMR - Password?!?!

by Jay » Wed, 06 Jan 1999 04:00:00

I found a copy of the Colin McRae Rally that supports a T2/Wheel....

Ran a 2:52 at Greece (Colin only ran a 4:05 !) and afterwards it came up
with a congratulations message and gave me a password that consisted of a 15
digit number.

Any idea what this "password" is for? I can't seem to find anyplace on the
demo to use it!

Jay J

PS: Any idea when it will be out in the USA? Checked with CompUSA and Best
Buy and neither one even had it listed on their upcoming software titles!

Will, you mentioned that you got F1RS through www.interactcd.com last year

Was it the beta2 version? that from what I understand had numerous patches
or was it the same version that shipped in the USA which was the final
release of F1RS?

The reason I ask, is I'm a bit hesitant to order CMR via the net if it's not
the same version that will be released to the USA market this year. Maybe
I'm just being a bit gun-shy, because I've never bought software over the
net before?.....

BTW, how much hard drive space did / does it take up for the various
installs.

I'm running a bit low on drive space as it is...

Thank's again!

You can order from InteractCD over the phone if you want. I have had good
service from them.
