Watching the Speedchannel/Speedvision coverage of this past summer's FIA
Sportscars.  The Dome cars look like they have taken the nose of a early
90's Williams F1 and put fenders on it.
The Lola used to have a Terrible looking front end with a raised center
that came to a tall edge...kinda like a 40's pickup truck with aerodynamics.
But the Lolas have shaved off the tall portion and it looks more NORMAL now
for a sportscar.
The Ascari seems to have tried to sneak a front wing into the rules
package
The OLD OLD Riley & Scott and Ferrari 333sp's look unchanged from the old
WSC days.  But the Ferrari sounds wrong with that Judd engine instead of a
screaming Ferrari.
It's time for a real Sportscar endurance product.

Still it's a nice break from stick and ball. I'm enjoying it.

Dave,

I would agree. A Ferrari 333sp with a Judd engine is just wrong. Enzo is
prbably rolling over in his grave.

Well perhaps Enzo should pay Luca a visit late some night and "convince" him to build a new sportscar engine.  Worked for Ebenezer
Scrooge... ;-)

SB

PS - my vote's for the little Ascari.  Much tidier looking than those formula-car-wannabe Domes.  Better name, too!

Considering the "Ferrari" 333sp was made by Delarra (sp?) 5 years ago, it's
probably the best advertising the old man ever got ;)

The first 15 333SP chassis were built by Ferrari. Subsequent chassis were
constructed by Michelotto.
