Hi
I'm not too hot at GPL, alone on the track I can get down to 1:32, usually
running in the 1:33's, and I'm looking to see if there's anyone else out
there that would like to hook up and do some online racing of sorts.
The type of racing I've enjoyed most so far is when you're racing around the
track, but if someone comes off then the other person waits and they get
going agian... this lends itself to lots of close in racing and if the two
people are similar in ability it's great fun.

Just trying to have a little fun online rather than being a moving chicane.
Oh, and I'm more interested in staying on the track and going slightly
slower than coming off the track at every third corner.

You sound like a candidate for the vroc-f2 club

F2 & FD are better than F1 for online racing anyway and this club is aimed
at drivers at your skill level; winning isn't the primary concern.  There
are races during the week, and a very well-attended event Saturdays
(mid-afternoon in Europe).  We had 60-some people there last weekend.
