For the last three days, I haven't been able to view The Pits
(www.theuspits.com). Netscape claims there's no DNS entry. Are they
transitioning to a new server, or gone? If the former and anyone
knows the IP address, pleas post it.

There is a mirror in Norway http://www.arctic.no/thepits/ , but it seems it
hasn't been updated since March 98

Very correct Jan Otto, I`ve been having a bit of computer probs, and so
has Jan Kohl at his end so the updates haven`t been so regular as they
should have been, appologies to those of you that uses this site, I will
try to uppdate it more often in the future :-)

Jonathan, I don`t have the full story, but Jan was due to transfer the
whole site to a new server the other day, then he had a MAJOR harddrive
failure on his own computer, don`t know how he`s doing at the moment
(other than being very pissed, I guess), but knowing Jan, he`ll be back
shortly

since no one else from the pits seems to be around I guess I'll answer that
question. I really dont know. We were moving to the the new server early
this week. Maybe there are a few little problems. If you notice that
iwcccars is also not up. It's on the same server.

I just got an e-mail from Jan. The new Pits site will up ang going by
tommorow or the next day at the latest. We just moved everything over to a
new server.
