F1RS-Edit Driver Name--How?

Looking at page 16 of the owners manual it give instructions on how to
change the driver names so you can put in your own name.  I've followed all
the steps: 1) I click on the team I wish to associate myself with; 2) I
click on the pilot's LED; 3) then when I click on the driver's name I'm
unable to edit the name.  Am I missing a step, or am I doing something
incorrectly?

You can only edit the name in certain modes.  For example, I don't
think you can edit the name in Single Race Mode but you can in Time
Attack Mode.

If you go to http://www.f1racingsim.com   you will find an easy program that
lets you edit all the names in the game in any mode.
