Help? NFSSE Installation problem

by John Linderma » Mon, 12 Jan 1998 04:00:00

I'm trying to install the classic Need For Speed SE in DOS but am having
a problem.
After I change the dos promt to "d:", I try to type "install" but all I
get is a "bad or invalid file name, etc.".  What am I doing wrong?  I've
tried every command I can think of.  I'm currently running ICR2 & Grand
Prix 2 demo from my CD drive, so I don't think the drive is the problem.

I tried installing in WIN95 but I can't get it to recognize my T2, plus
the curser bounces all over the place on the option screens.  I figured
if I try to install it in DOS first I might get better performance.
Please email me with any help.  Thanks
John L.

have you tried "installd". I don't mean to be rude, but do you know how to
go "dir" and look for "exe" files?

The computer won't blow up if you run the wrong one.
