Cross Rally Championship demo is very impressive

Get the latest (2nd) demo cause it's a lot of fun. Gfx and sounds are
kinda subpar but physics, handling and fun are way above avg; much more
simish than arcade IMO.

I haven't had this much fun pure racing since RBR came out. Well, GTR
and rFactor are way up there too I guess but those are a more 'serious'
type fun; CRC is more on the casual side ala FlatOut.

I passed on this demo a while ago but since I got a Momo Force for Xmas
I revisited it for wheel test purposes and found out CRC is a mud load
of econo-Euro car sim'in.

In regards to car handling and physics, I'd say CRC is at a level where
FlatOut should have been. It's not a pure sim like GTR, rFactor or RBR
are but it's 85% of all those games on a sim scale level. CRC is
truckloads more sim like than the disappointments of CMRx, Xpand or
FlatOut that's for sure.

Turn off all the aids, spend quality time setting up your wheel with the
sundry sliders in the control menus and race. Big Hint: the car setup
'Drivetrain' fwd vs rwd bias slider makes a huge and realistic change in
handling.

FYI, the guys that made this game are the same that made Insane Racing,
if any of you remember that ahead of its time racer.

I don't work for Invictus or anything, just trying to share some fun on
a seemingly over looked racer.

Be curious to hear what others thing of this game.

Oh, and force feedback is ok but could be better.
