GPL Hotlapping Help

Hi folks!

Is there any patch for GPL which allows me to put in fuel for one lap and
renew this filling everytime I cross Start-Finish (this was implemented in
F1RS and very handy for hotlapping as for my point, I need rythm for decent
laptimes, and getting back to the pits after 3 laps plus driving a
warm-up-lap everytime thereafter is annoying)?

Greetings
Markus

Try putting fuel in for say 7-8 laps. Tyre temp is more important than fuel
load IMHO

Don't like the idea of a patch for this for 2 reasons

Danger of effects on on-line racing (there is no hot-lap option in GPL as in
F1RS)
Realism - Papyrus have gone to great lengths to model the changing
conditions (tyre temps, engine temp, fuel load etc.) - a common fuel load
for each lap would make this a waste of time. The next patch would maintain
tyre temps at optimum level and so on.

Keep it as it is!

Cheers

Tony

Hi Markus... hate to say it, but you just have to go out with about 3 or
4 gallons to make 5-10 laps at any given track. It works well. Why?
because you need to warm your tires anyway, so (at the Glen for
instance) you need 2 to 3 laps for tire warming. Then, when they are at
their optimum, your gas load will be low too. It works for me.
