I know this is peanuts for most of you guys here but I feel like I'm
unbeatable today (no vroc today, it'll ruin my mood)

1:29.60 to be precise, 2 weeks practising with on the Eagle instead of the
twitchy Lotus with my new DIY-wheel made me drop from +1:32-ers to
sub-1:30-ers. I guess what really did it for me is learning trail-braking
and no more engine-braking. I never beleived such small changes in driving
style can make such a difference in laptimes.
Oh and I forgot... recalibrating... my throttle wasn't totally open when I
pushed my pedal to the metal before... :-/

Now, back to Monza!
I'll say this very quietly: Greger & Wolfgang here I come.... ;-)

LOL!
Do you have a split-axis pedal setup?  Do you need that for trail-braking?

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you

As far as I am concerned you totallly need split-axis for trailbraking.
Simply impossible without it.

Well done on the sub 1:30 though. It took me ages to do it, but since I did
it has gone from good to fantastic.

I have finally nailed another 2 PB's.

At Spa I'm down to a 3:23:65 ( all down to the Masta kink change) and at
Kyalami I have at last hit the 1:22's. One & a half years of playing & I'm
finally getting there.

PS. Here in Scotland we're finally getting access to ADSL lines so beware
lads, I'm a'comin' for on-line mayhem.

No you don't NEED it, but it is easier to balance the car if you have
split axis, because you can use brakes and throttle at the same time.

And to Tim... Congratulations! I've beaten my PB on Monza two days ago
in my Ferrari. I dropped from 1:29.90 to 1:29:606. I've broken the 1:30
barrier a while ago and had been stuck in the 1:29.90's for just too
long. It feels great to see how you can keep improving your times even
after over a year of driving.

What other sim/game is good enough to keep people enjoyed for so long?
The  game I played longest before GPL was Myth: the fallen lords, wich I
played a lot for 5 to 6 months. I think this is very long for a regular
game. With GPL the end of enjoyment is nowhere in sight even after all
this time. Great job papy!

That's what I was afraid of.  My T2 didn't have split-axis, and I haven't been
able to get my TSW2mod to work in split-axis mode yet... :-(

I have made my own peds with split axis and I added a single axis converter
switch exactly like they say at Lew's wheel's but it doesn't work!
Why not? Is their scheme incorrect? Has anybody else tried this?  I can't
run GP2 in my***pit... :(

What car are you using ? While I can't get below 3:29s at Spa in the
Brabham, I have run several 1:22.7-9s at Kyalami.
