Nascar 1.21 Woes

I have recently upgraded to Nascar Racing 1.21.  Before the upgrade I
had no problems connecting by modem, now it is impossible.  I have
tried every init string that I know...nothing works.  I have a
Generic 14.4 with a rockwell chipset.  any help would be greatly
appreciated.

I have the exact same problem!!  And quite frankly, I'M TICKED!!  I hope
you're listening Papyrus.  If you guys aren't sure of the solution, leave
the problem alone.  You're making it hard for me to justify telling my
friends to buy this game.

I had the same problems with 1.21 - I ended up reinstalling V1.20 and am
having no more connection difficulty...
