This is an appeal to Jacques Villeneuve to lift the monetary restriction
on using his name in racing simulations.

This is upsetting a lot of your supporters.

We all know you earn a lot of money and we are pleased that you
can be financially secure, but this is not the way to please your
Canadian fans.

I hope you will treat this request seriously.

All of my sims have Jacques Villeneuve leading the pack with all the
right sponsors (and even the right helmet!) I don't think this is big
issue. If he releases the copyright it may just open the floodgates for
all kinds of nonsense. I respect his privacy.

Actually )*&(&^(*&%_ JV is a computer nut. And considering this IS THE F1

some of this stuff...

I guess***wad is smarter than you. but what does that make you
then?.....Predickwad?

That's right- 'ol JV claimed "a computer video game" (which turned out
to be GP2) helped him earn his first win at Hungaroring. He also said
the he could never finish better thatn 6th or so in the game.

I've also read in some UK Playstation mag that Damon and some other
driver made requests to Psygnosis fro copies of their then upcoming F1
sim for Playstation.

that sig needs some work,

Pah. He copyrighted his father's name too. I wonder how much he
charged Mail Poste to make those stamps....

Maybe we should all wait for Jacques Villeneuve's Collusion F1 sim-
duel for the championship and hand the race to Mika.

Anyway, it matters not. I'm sure in a few months, there will be an
editor, with proper car ads, helmets, etc. I hope Rebrica Saso has a
3Dfx card....then again, his GP2 cars looked so good, maybe we can all
pitch in and get him one.

Actually Canada Post did not have to pay any royaltys or fees for useing
Gills name. Jacques just let Canada Post use it (and if Jacques said no,
the liberals qould just table a bill and push it through the house
anyways)

And I say to the first post that Jacques not lending his name and
likeness to a computer *** company will get him to lose fans in
Canada... Or the world for that matter.

Peut-tre moi ??  :)

J'sus un chanceux. No?l arrive pis j'vais avoir un nouvel ordi.  "Brand new"

Eheh...  Mais quand meme, j'me demande si Ubisoft a pas

carte 3DFX...  La chu dans la marde parce que j'ai pas le cash que ca
prend pour acheter une bonne 3DFX...  Peut-etre que F1RS va me faire
changer d'idee, ca reste a voir...  J'me demande si c'est quand meme

Ouain...

On s'en calisse!  Ahahahah!

Maybe that peroxide worked its way into poor ole Jacque's grey
matter. What a wimp. I HATE sportsmen that do that kind if infintile
thing. I'd rather not have them in my sims anyway.

Sim racers can do things with a sim that no real racer in his right
mind would ever do. I think if I was a real F1 racer I might stay away
from sims to ensure I did not get into bad habits and think that hitting
a wall at 200mph was no big deal. Just hit restart and ..........Oops -
I forgot this was the real thing.

Not to get in a big debate one way or another, but Dale Earnhart
got screwed out of millions before protecting his name...Whatever
the real reason, I'm sure JV has several besides a quick buck.

Cheers!
