Get f1 racing championship by ubisoft, the best of all! the grafix are the
best of all games, btw, f1rc2 project is stopped by ubisoft for unknown
reasons, so it wont be released :'(
but f1rc is definatly the best racing game ever, try this link:
http://www.actiontrip.com/files/demos/f1racingchampionship.phtml
there are links to the demo, try it and tell me what u think, the new season
2002 update is verry cool, but u cant use that in a demo, and the game is
here in holland cheap at the moment, the game is from 2001!

The tracks are indeed accurate and nice to look at - but the Physics is a
little dodgy in places - and the AI non existant.

It's certainly not the best racing game ever.

I find it funny how people in this newsgroup constanly have to remind people
which game is better.

Is everyone in here hired by EA to market their game or what?????...... ;-)

Btw. Gp4 suxxxxxx...... LOL

Of course, they made a promiss they would release a patch for F1RC before
the next title.  Therefore, the project is stopped until the patch is made
;-P

Sorry but F1RC is immediately flawed by questionable physics that can't be
modified or changed.

GP4 = Nice fun arcadey F1 drive with pretty good AI (except in qualifying)
F12002 = Nice fun F1 simulation with rather ***AI

If you want arcade physics and rules, get GP4. If you want an F1 simulation,
get F12002. Buy according to preference :)

Agreed

It was VERY nearly a superb product - just not QUITE right

Now is someone could just export those tracks......

> It was VERY nearly a superb product - just not QUITE right

Exactly.  As also, F12002 is a very nearly superb product, just not quite
right because of the badly modeled tracks and 3d environment.  As also, GP4
is a very nearly superb product, just not quite right because of it's 15
year old core engine ;)

We said the same for Motorsims and the tracks they created for AMA
Superbike.  Perhaps those people could realise that the work they have done
still is worth the potential to other companies.

Other companies would love to have to pay for a team of 3d modellers and 2d
artists if they could buy it from somebody else that have done it perfectly.
Really, why not?  If I had serious 3d track modeling skills, I would try to
create tracks so I could sell them to either the track themselves (so they
can sell it again to game producers) or directly to game producers.  That
means arcade-type tracks or simulations of real tracks.

WHAT? But they promised that the patch for f1rc would be released
before f1rc2 would be released..
Well perhaps that was the reason f1rc2 got canned.. :-/
