For the few road racing fans of NASCAR out there, I need some assistance in
breaking the 115 mph lap speed barrier.  According to 'NASCAR Racing
Strategies and Secrets' (NRSS) a 120 mph lap speed is possible.  Can't seem
to make it.  The tricky area for me seens to be exiting the Chicane,
According to NRSS you should exit the Chicane, turns 5 and 6, and reach 105
mph before turn 7.  It's all I can do to keep it on the track.  Exiting the
Chicane in 2nd gets me to about 90 mph, before turn 7.  Try the same in
third, I won't get up to speed in the short distance between turns 6 and 7.

If you can do better than 115, I'm open to suggestions.

P.S. Anyone RR's try your luck at an ICR2 converted Leguna Seca? [Thanks,
Jed, etal.]  Have eclipsed the posted 85+ mph, I've gotten it up to 86.650
mph.  Anyone top say 90 mph.

This may sound unbelievable to you but if your car setup is in order
you go through the chicane at around 90 to 100 mph. This makes it
little easier to reach the 105 mph for the next turn. Actually you can
get the speed up to 120 mph for the turn but then you'll have to break
somewhat to get through it.

So, it's all in the setup for this part of the track. My best lap at
Watkins Glen is 121,xxx.
