F1RS: "steering limit"?

In the "detail" submenu of the "controls" submenu of configure, there is a
yes/no choice for "steering limit" (not to be confused with Easy's "steering
help").  Does anyone know what it does?  Not in my UK manual.  And from
toggling it on and off, I can't tell.
