lost gpl text on screen?

i have upgraded to a gf3 ti500 i have since lost all text on the gpl screen
game still works fine clicking the mouse where the text should be
if i jump into the car then get out the text is back intemitently sometimes
there and then not
i have reinstalled the game
using driver 23.12
leadtek GF3 TI500
K3T ultra msi
XP1800
any ideas?
ps have cpu fixed aswell

Just as a side note, you may want to update your graphics driver from
www.nvidia.com.  They're up to 29.42 now.  8-)

I have this problem with a Kyro2. It seems to show up when the GPLEA Eagle
is visible on screen. The engine sound (only on the car I'm in) sometimes
gets garbled too.

The solution (go back to the standard Eagle) isn't a desirable one.

try turning off antialiasing.
