F1 Sim Controller & Game Frame Pro

Is there anyone out there who has experience with these products?  I looked
at their website and the controller and frame look to be quality and a good
value ($600 for both).  Can anyone give me their impressions?

Thanks!

Hi
I have both the game frame chassis and the f1 sim wheel and the quality is
excellent I don't use the f1 sim wheel set up since force feed back came on
the 1.1 patch I got a MSFF wheel but you can,t fault the quality of the
set-up.

Regards

Bob

I've had an F1 Sim for over a year now, and it still performs well.

The *new* F1 Sim should have an updated steering return mechanism (check
before you buy) which is a much more positive return mechanism than the
old one.

I have the old version and it does not always return the steering to the
centre accurately, although to be honest, I find this a minor problem
and do not even notice it any more. I do know however, that other owners
of the F1 Sim did find this a problem. The new mechanism is supposed to
work better and gives more resistance when turned.

Apart from this minor prob, the F1 Sim is very well built and uses
quality parts, and is fully adjustable. I have only had to change a
throttle spring on mine since I've owned it. You can get spare parts
easily from the makers via mail order.

I'd say the only two wheels that come near to (or better) the F1 Sim are
the ECCI and TSW wheels (both based in the USA). The F1 Sim is
definitely the best UK wheel IMHO.

I have used mine with GPL, GP2, ICR2, N2, Screamer2, Motorhead, TOCA &
TOCA2, Castrol Honda Superbike Championship, Big Red Racing, Monster
Truck Racing, Ultimate Race Pro, Destruction Derby, Need for Speed &
Motoracer. It has always worked perfectly with any program I have used
it with.

I have not used the game frame pro, but have looked at it, and it looks
to be very solid in construction, using a real "Cobra" race seat and
steel frame, which appears to be fully adjustable? If I had the money
(I'm about to buy a new Motorbike!) and some spare room for it, I'd buy
one today......
