I've installed the full game, but it constantly freezes when in the game or
menu's. This can happen straight away or after just a few minutes. I've
never managed to get to the end of a stage yet!!

I've tried the latest patch, even installing it as suggested for the 8 meg
Voodoo board (which I have - Creative labs).

It's running on a Gigabyte GA 5AA mobo, AMD K62 500 processor with 128meg
of ram.

Any ideas?

All other Voodoo games including Quake3 run ok ('though I did have a
problem with Eidos Official Formula One Racing when it finished a race - it
would freeze as the car disappeared passed the finishing line. I assume
this was as the game was trying to access the end animation. This seems to
have cleared up now though).

Thanks in advance.

I dont know if this is the fault, dont think so, but the K62- is not a
very good processor for games...buy a celeron instead!

I can only assume that it's the K6 2 problem, same as I had with D3D games.
If RC is, indeed, a D3D game, I recommend you try www.powertweak.com and get
their utility. It's 20 day shareware, then costs $25 after, but it cleared
up all my problems.

Considering the game has the AMD logo on the box, I don't think that is the
fault.

If it isn't the processor, buying a new motherboard and celeron is hardly a
cure is it?

As for playing games, it runs all my games just fine - including Quake3....
