Well, I've been running a championship season for the past week and tonight I
crossed the finish line in Spain about 2.5 seconds in front of Schumacher.  
Wow!!! That checkered flag looks better when you know it's for you!  I then
decelerated and cruised around the track waiting for the rest of the cars to
finish the race.  Meanwhile, Schumacher blazed on past, but since I'd already
seen the checkered flag, I just ignored him.

Then the "RACE OVER" message showed and all H*LL broke loose.  Wow, I got to
see a little animation of a *2* flipping around on the screen.  And what's
this?  In race results I'm listed in 2nd!  And then check out these finishing
times:

1st  Michael Schumacher 261.859Mph
2nd  Clark Archer       230.632Mph            
3rd  David Coulthard    113.746Mph              
4th  Damon Hill         113.681Mph

Pretty good huh?  My average speed for the whole race is about 45 mph beyond
the top speed I ever achieved.

This is really disheartening because I'm not doing too well at GP2 yet.  This
was my first win (and my first finish in the points) since I started playing
GP2.  I think they should have black flagged Michael for passing me anyway.  
He was engaging in "dangerous driving".  Maybe a suspension might be in order!

Well, at least I saved a hotlap which clearly shows my car finishing the race
in first, so I know the truth.  It just irks me to see that six points when I
should have gotten ten!

Just an idea or guess, I haven't really tried to test it yet.

Anyone one else have the game lock up on you?  I have crashed it twice - got the left
side of the car up in the air about 45 degrees going through a chicane.  The game just
freezes, the sound card emits a pulsing squeal and I have to reboot.  Anyone?

Well, that's probably what it is then because I saved my fastest lap and the
final lap of the race because I wanted to show the duel with Schumacher to my
racing friends.  Live and learn I suppose.

The game hasn't crashed on me yet.  Keep those fingers crossed!

It felt good even if it was wrong.  Is this a slight bug?

Also, I hit escape after another race to save some performance info
and when I finished the race, all the race speeds/times had rocketed.
The speeds were 430+ MPH (not Kph) and the lap times were about 10s +,
the order did not change and the track records were not affected.
Minor but interesting ????
